Eimear Walshe

Eimear Walshe (They/Them) is an artist and writer from Longford. Their work is made public through video, publishing, performance, sculpture and lectures, often in synthesis between these forms.

Their practice is based on research in fiscal and sexual economies and histories, working to reconcile the aesthetics, values and tastes of their queer and rural subjectivity. They are currently a project studio member at TBS&S, and Research Associate at CCA Derry~Londonderry. Their work is held in the collections of The Arts Council and IMMA.

Selected exhibitions include Eva International 2020/2021, Queer Embodiment at IMMA 2021, Wayward Eye at Temple Bar Gallery and Studios 2021. Recent solo public projects Cuckquean at Van Abbemuseum 2021, THE LAND FOR THE PEOPLE, National Sculpture Factory 2021, LAND CRUISER, Drop Everything 2022.
